Webinar – Labour, and birth, at home, what do I need to know?

Starts Wednesday 25th March at 11h00am GMT
A webinar for women and their partners who may find themselves labouring or giving birth at home.

In the current coronavirus situation many women want to stay at home in labour for as long as possible, or are changing their plans to give birth at home. Is this you? Are your worrying what happens if you leave it too late and baby is born at home. Or what about if there isn’t a midwife to come out, or she arrives too late? What do you need to get ready? What do you need to know? What does your partner need to know? Is this you?

In this webinar, highly experienced international midwife Marianne Littlejohn from spiritualbirth.net will run through what you need to prepare in advance, what might happen in labour, when to get help, what you can do to, what your partner can do, and what to do if labour happens quickly before the midwife arrives. Marianne is a highly experienced and knowledgeable midwife, who has run midwifery training programmes, set up birth centres and has an independent midwifery practise in her home country of South Africa.
