Mandy and I attended Quinn’s birth recently, only I arrived just after the baby was born. Earlier that day, Karen had spent the afternoon attending the Aware Parenting Workshop and had mentioned that she was having mild period pains by late afternoon. Robert had been quite nervous about the homebirth experience, but entered into it fully and was ecstatic after the birth of his son. It took a while before we could leave mom, dad and new baby Quinn tucked up in bed together! There was much joyous sms ing and emailing and pics while we attended to mom and baby.
